Meet the Brand: eCoachManager & Don’t Travel Empty

We catch up with Derek Crampton from eCoachManager & Don’t Travel Empty to find out more about their brand and exhibiting at Euro Bus Expo, on stand 325.
Tell us a bit about your company?
eCoachManager is a specialist software platform built exclusively for the bus and coach sector. For twelve years we have focused on one product and one industry, giving operators a single, web-based system for quoting, bookings, dispatch, fleet and driver management, customer and driver apps, compliance, invoicing and reporting. There is nothing to install, and it works in any browser.
Our customers range from owner-operators running two vehicles to enterprise groups managing fleets of 1,500 vehicles across multiple regions. We are live in the UK, Ireland, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa, so we understand how operators work in very different markets.
What sets us apart is that we run our own coach operations on the same platform we sell. When something does not work, we feel it first, and that shapes how we build. Our development and support teams work only on coach and bus technology, and we release improvements every week rather than saving them for an annual update. Where an operator needs something we do not yet offer, we have a proven record of building it, from bespoke finance integrations to enterprise data connections, as part of the implementation itself.
That pace is on show this year, with Auto Allocation, a Driver Wages Module, Flexi Pay fare packages, a Custom Website Builder and a new CRM, each designed to take routine work off your team while keeping the operator firmly in control.
Alongside eCoachManager sits Don’t Travel Empty, our operator network that turns empty legs, idle vehicles and unconfirmed quotes into matched work. This year it moves to DTE One, a new coach and vehicle management system with a Drivers App, linked to Nexus for automatic empty-leg journey matching.

Tell us about your latest product(s), service(s), promotions or launches visitors can hope to see on your stand?
This year our stand is packed with new capability for eCoachManager users, and every feature is there to be tried, not just talked about.
Auto Allocation takes the heavy lifting out of matching vehicles and drivers to jobs. It looks across your whole fleet, proposes the most efficient allocation and flags conflicts and driver-hour breaches before they become problems.
Our new Driver Wages Module lets you configure driver pay bands to suit UK working-time rules. It works directly with Timesheets to produce fortnightly or monthly driver pay runs, taking the spreadsheet and the guesswork out of payday.
Flexi Pay goes live too. Offer customers approved fare packages, or let them build their own by choosing payment timing, change notice and cancellation notice. Prices only appear for combinations you have approved, and once accepted, the terms are locked to that booking. Staff see a cancellation preview showing the exact refund or charge before they confirm.
Our Custom Website Builder lets operators build and edit their own web pages inside eCoachManager, with AI assistance. Alongside it, our new CRM keeps every customer conversation in one place, Kanban boards give your team a clear visual view of tasks in flight, and Sticky Notes put a quick reminder exactly where it is needed.
Over on the Don’t Travel Empty side, we are launching DTE One. It rebuilds a decade-old product for the new world, replacing our legacy system with a modern platform that includes a Drivers App and links into Nexus for automatic journey matching across the DTE and eCoachManager network.
And finally, we have a secret. We are not saying what it is, and we are not dropping hints. You will need to visit Stand 325 to find out.

Why is exhibiting at Euro Bus Expo 2026 an unmissable opportunity for you?
Euro Bus Expo puts the people who run the UK and Ireland’s coach and bus fleets in one place, and they are exactly who we build for. Nothing replaces sitting down with an operator, hearing what is really slowing their business down and showing them how it could change.
A great deal has changed since 2024. Operators are under pressure on costs, driver availability and customer expectations, and they are increasingly asking how technology and AI can help. We want to be part of that conversation, in person, with the people making those decisions.
Bring your toughest questions. See you at Stand 325.
