Alexander Dennis focuses on customer relationships and AD24 service at Euro Bus Expo 2026
Alexander Dennis, a subsidiary of NFI Group Inc., will exhibit two buses at Euro Bus Expo 2026, focusing on customer relationships and its AD24 aftermarket service.
Euro Bus Expo will be the first major exhibition for the next-generation Alexander Dennis Enviro200EV, giving the wider industry a chance to explore the new electric single-decker. Designed for efficiency and around two tonnes lighter than similar vehicles, the Enviro200EV completes the manufacturer’s next-generation range of zero-emission buses.
It will be joined on the stand by an Enviro400 double-decker, which remains Britain’s favourite double-decker, offering up to 85 passenger seats in a robust vehicle that is easily maintained and cost-effective to operate – demonstrating Alexander Dennis’s continued commitment to conventional and low-emission buses.
AD24 support
The Alexander Dennis sales team will be joined by representatives of AD24, the manufacturer’s aftermarket service, which supports operators of existing fleets with original spare parts, telematics, field support, the largest repair and refurbishment workshop capacity in the UK, advanced technical publications and the AD24 Training Academy.
“Euro Bus Expo brings together the bus industry, and we can’t wait to meet our customers, partners and friends. Whether you are in the market for new buses or looking for ways to maximise the revenue from your existing fleet, Alexander Dennis and AD24 have got you covered, and we look forward to finding out what we can do for you.”
Charlie Miller, Head of Retail Sales, Alexander Dennis

Troman Industries Unveils Trident
Troman Industries has launched Trident™, which it describes as the first major advancement in transit fire detection and suppression in over 30 years.
Trident is a next-generation platform for thermal detection, notification and suppression, designed to fundamentally change how transit operators prevent and respond to vehicle fires. Built on decades of proven suppression technology, it aims to shift the industry from reactive response to proactive prevention.
“Historically, transit systems have been forced into a ‘let it burn’ scenario. By the time a problem is detected, it’s often too late to save the vehicle. Trident changes that by identifying risks earlier and giving agencies more time to act.”
Brandon Curtis, EVP of Sales, Business and Product Development, Troman Industries
Trident introduces a fully connected, data-driven approach to thermal risk management, combining real-time monitoring, probabilistic modelling and next-generation detection technologies into a unified platform. At its core, the system enables operators to:
- Identify abnormal thermal conditions before escalation
- Notify personnel instantly through real-time alerts and cloud dashboards
- Nullify threats through early intervention and proven suppression
This shift is especially critical as fleets transition to lithium-ion battery systems and other advanced propulsion technologies, where thermal events can escalate rapidly and result in losses exceeding $1.5 million per vehicle.
Unlike legacy systems that only respond after a fire has begun, Trident delivers continuous visibility into vehicle and facility conditions. Operators can monitor temperature trends, receive timely alerts and access historical data for investigation and liability analysis.
Key innovations
- Continuous thermal monitoring with precise location detection
- Real-time SMS/email alerts and cloud-based dashboards
- CAN-integrated operational foresight across vehicle systems
- Dual-vision thermal imaging with on-edge analytics
- Facility-wide monitoring for charging infrastructure and maintenance areas
Trident retains the proven reliability of legacy suppression systems, including military-grade optical detection and Purple-K suppression, while expanding capabilities into real-time intelligence and early-stage intervention.
“This is not just suppression,” said Troman CEO Tony Cunnane. “This is prevention, intelligence, and response working together.”
Troman is currently partnering with transit agencies across North America to deploy and evaluate Trident in real-world environments, helping define the future standard for transit safety.
About Troman Industries
Troman Industries is a privately held company based in Elkhart, Indiana, providing advanced safety, detection and monitoring solutions to the transit industry.

Distinctive Systems Announces Coach Manager Cloud, built for the way coach operators work today
A new cloud-based platform brings more than 40 years of industry experience into a simpler, more flexible way of managing coach operations.
Distinctive Systems has announced the launch of Coach Manager Cloud, a completely new cloud-based platform designed around how coach operators actually work today. The first UK release is planned for the end of November 2026, with operators able to see the platform first-hand at Euro Bus Expo.
The challenge for today’s coach operators
The way coach companies work has changed. Traditional systems tied to an office or depot can be challenging when teams are working from home or out on the road. Today’s operators need the flexibility to access bookings, vehicles, drivers and customer information wherever they are – and Coach Manager Cloud has been built from the ground up to make that possible.
Designed around the way operators work
Because Coach Manager Cloud is cloud-based, operators can securely access their system from different locations without relying on on-site infrastructure. The experience has been redesigned to make everyday tasks quicker and easier, with faster search, advanced filtering, improved client lookups and configurable dashboards.
- Private hires, contracts and quotations brought together in a more consistent workflow, with improved scheduling and allocation
- Built-in mapping and commercial routing, matching routes with vehicle requirements, timings and pricing
- Expanded customer management, giving a clearer picture of customers, contacts, communication and bookings
- Automated quotation emails, confirmations, reminders, follow-ups and pre-departure communications
- Improvements across vehicle records, employee management, subcontractors, lost property, reporting and security
More than 40 years in the making
Distinctive Systems’ story began in 1982, when founder Mike Whitehead was running his family’s coach company and looking for a better way to manage the everyday demands of the business. When he couldn’t find the right software, he began creating it himself.
“Ultimately, it’s about making life easier for coach operators. That’s what my dad was trying to do when he started the business more than 40 years ago, and it’s still what drives us today. We’ve taken everything we’ve learned from more than 40 years of working with coach operators and used that experience to build something for the future. We’re incredibly excited to finally start putting it into our customers’ hands.”
Chris Whitehead, Managing Director, Distinctive Systems
The Distinctive Systems team will be demonstrating Coach Manager Cloud throughout the event, giving operators the chance to see it first-hand and speak to the team behind it.
